Every Ordinary Day

Let's be grateful for every ordinary day. Every day where reality doesn't bite. Where the bad news doesn't come.

Let us not forget to be grateful on the ordinary days. Don't let the tumult and frustration from to do lists and delayed dreams rob us of the wonder and appreciation of the ordinary day.

  1. Reminds me of the sentiments form some Eckhart Tolle that I have been reading recently. Very wise.

  3. A very happy New Year to you, Sherri. I love my ordinary days! They begin here with the laughter of kookaburras and the nudge of a hungry Labrador friend after his breakfast. I always think that's just a great way to begin a day. Today's new year day will be an ordinary one here but how lovely it's here. May 2019 hold many happy and ordinary moments for you. Lovely to read your posts again.

  5. Ordinary days are the best. I love the peace they bring to our lives. I always drift back to my grandmothers time, when life was hard, but a whole lot simpler :-)

  6. I can remember visiting my grandmother in the 70's out west - it might have been Taroom or Jandowae - and she lived without electricity. She would have been about 60 at the time.

Tania, my apologies, I published your other comment but it appears that Blogger has eaten it. My internet connection seems to be a bit slow and wonky today.
