A Break in Transmission

I know I have been quiet lately. My husband's brother and sister-in-law travelled across from Western Australia for a couple of weeks holiday. Having recently finished chemotherapy treatment my brother-in-law wanted to spend some quality time with his brother

It was a time of family BBQs and conversation. Don and his brother were able to spend some time fishing.

It was a special time which we all greatly enjoyed.

  1. How lovely that the brothers could spend time together, Sherri. Sometimes people don't get that opportunity and always regret the fact.

    1. They really enjoyed their time together Chel. They did lots of reminiscing about their younger days. They had a hard childhood and it is good for them to talk about things - it helps with the healing process.

  2. Breaks in transmission are a healthy thing.....a bit like getting the candles out in a blackout is always enjoyable.

    1. It is fun to get the candles out in a blackout isn't it? Especially when one has already had dinner.

  3. That is a special time, Sherri, to spend time all together and to enjoy each other's company. I hope your brother-in-law responds well to the treatment. Meg Xx

  5. Sounds like a lovely time; those breaks in transmission 'restore the soul'. I hope that your brother in law enjoys much better health now as he recovers from that treatment.
