Moxie's stitches come out!

Poor Moxie has had a different couple of weeks from normal. She has had to wear the cone of shame - as they call it at the Vet's - so she wouldn't bite her stitches. She did not attempt to get it off at all. I don't think Banjo will be that well behaved when it is his turn.

"Silence minion, I am communing with the Overlord."
Moxie making contact with aliens.

We also had to keep her tied up a bit so she would not engage in any vigorous play and cause herself an injury as her body was healing. In the photo above she is an old rug kept  the garage for them. Moxie and Banjo like to sit on it in the morning to catch the early winter morning sun. (It's a dog's life.)

Banjo had been very attentive to Moxie whilst she was recovering. Here is a photo of Banjo taking her for a walk on the lead.

  1. Love that photo of them walking together. Really looks like they're having a good old chat.

    1. It does look like they are chatting Kylie. They have so much fun together - and also get into a bit of mischief.

  2. Oh poor baby.....

I take it, this is to make sure, that no puppies will be coming.... Which is such a necessity.

    Love the last photo. :-)

Oh and I love the dusty pink color, you have your sidebar(s) background in. It is such a happy color. :-))))))))

    1. Yes, two energetic, mischievous puppies are definitely enough.

I really like that colour too, I thought it went well with the sepia photos in the background.

    1. I think the worst part for her was that she was not allowed rough puppy play and had to be kept away from the dam as she was not allowed to get wet.
