Lucky you! :) Mangoes are enjoyed by everyone here in mango season, but we haven't managed to produce, much of our own. We have a tree, but don't look after it. So maybe luck hasn't anything to do with it, lol? ;)
From my observation the most adverse affects on mango production are rain during the late autumn early winter, period and strong winds blowing the flowers off the tree. So luck does have quite a bit to do with optimal growing conditions.
Mmm Mango and Ginger Jam. Mango Chilli Chutney. Mango Chicken. Dried Mango. Fresh Mango. Mango and Yoghurt. Mango Lassies. Mango Icecream. I love Mango.
It is a truly sublime fruit.
Hooray! Looks like you can expect a bumper crop! Now, how will you pick those, at the top?????? :-)
A few years back Don fastened a wire loop thing on the end of a long pole. But I think he left that down behind the mango tree in our place in the city we sold earlier this year :-0 Now I don't know what we are going to do about the high mangoes. No doubt the King Parrots will happily take care of them.
Such a beautiful tree. I really hope you do have a bumper crop. Kylie
I hope so too Kylie.
Nothing says Summer like a mango...icy cold, sitting out the back, juice running down chins. Yum! I hope you do get a bumper crop, Sherri. Meg:)
I hope so too. Mangoes really are heavenly!
